A painful reminder to keep safety top of mind
There are just those weeks that you look back on and go, “I’m glad I survived that one.”. Interesting enough, there were a couple news articles that came out April 30 naming agriculture once again as one of the most dangerous industries. I’m pretty sure that jinxed my week, or at least that’s what I’m blaming it on.

LINCOLN — Gov. Jim Pillen submitted a federal disaster declaration request Monday for early April wintry storms for eight counties in the Nebraska Panhandle. Pillen requested the declaration and a preliminary $10.5 million in federal funding after thunderstorms and heavy rains April 6 and April 7 developed into freezing rain, snow, strong winds and blizzard conditions.
