Bonnies Land Two More Commitments
ST. BONAVENTURE, NY — The St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team landed two more commitments Friday, snagging Iowa transfer Dasonte Bowen and junior college product Jonah Hinton. He averaged 4.4 points and 2.0 assists but saw his minutes dwindle as the season progressed. Bowen did not play in the team’s final seven games of the season with a knee injury. He committed to St. Bonaventure over Appalachian State, Tulsa, Central Michigan and Southern Illinois. Bowen and Hinton join Chance Moore — who committed on Tuesday — as part of the Bonnies 2024 transfer portal class. St. Bonaventure now has seven scholarship athletes, joining returners Noel Brown, Duane Thompson and Miles Rose, as well as incoming freshman Ebrahim Kaba.
