Hot Comments Today: All-girls private school rejects a trans student, 12, because 'she's a male'

The furious mother of a transgender student is suing an all-girls school for denying her child a place because she was 'born a male'.

Single mother of four Emma Jensen said she was excited for her two children Rylee, 13, and Harley, 12, to attend private Brisbane school Carinity Education Southside after seeing photos of their relatives in the school's foyer.

However, when the school replied to her March applications it said Harley did not meet their gender requirements.

The parents should be jailed for helping a 12 year old get hormone blockers to transition. The child is 12. 12 year old shouldn’t be making these decision. The Trans kid's Parent/Mother more than likely knew this would happen, and was searching for an excuse to Sue someone using her child.$$$🤭 That Christian Baptist School has had rules in place for several decades with certain Traditions and Values.
