5 Blue Water Area baseball players selected to 2024 MHSBCA All-State teams

What do the Algonac, Cardinal Mooney, Marlette and Richmond baseball teams all have in common?

Well, in addition to winning their respective district championships this spring, each program had at least one player named to an All-State team by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association on Monday.

Five local athletes were recognized in some capacity. Three of those players received first team selections.

DIVISION 3

Josh Kasner, Algonac, Senior

All-State Second Team

Bryce Simpson, Algonac, Junior

DIVISION 4

All-State First Team

Aaron Bower, Marlette, Senior

All-State Second Team
