Another guilty plea from Hancock County man charged with drug and gun crimes
GARNER, Iowa – A Hancock County man arrested for drug and gun crimes has pleaded guilty a second time. Larry Wayne Robbins, 67 of Goodell, was arrested after law enforcement said he waved a gun at a neighbor on July 26, 2022. Court documents state Robbins waved the gun at someone mowing a ditch about 300 yards east of Robbins’ home.
Rural, gravel roads in Iowa closed after heavy rain
(ABC 6 News) – In Western Hancock County Iowa just Southwest of Britt, it’s hard to find a field not affected by flooding. According to the Hancock and Winnebago County Emergency Management Coordinator Andy Buffinton, the area has received anywhere from three to six inches of water, with more rain in the forecast.
