FIRST ALERT WEATHER: A Decent Looking Weekend Ahead, with Sunshine and Clouds Expected both Saturday and Sunday

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Friday. We’re wrapping up the work week with another nice day across northern Maine, and fortunately, much of that quiet weather looks to stick around through the weekend. A strong Nor’easter will continue to churn well to our south, but the latest computer model runs have shifted the system even farther away from northern Maine. That keeps most of the rain associated with the storm focused across Bangor and Downeast Maine through the weekend, while Aroostook County remains mainly dry with a mixture of sunshine and clouds.

From working waterfronts to inland towns, storms are not distant possibilities. They are part of life.
