Abortion clinic opens near Albuquerque Sunport
CLAIM. WELL, NEW MEXICO HAS ANOTHER ABORTION CLINIC. THE FULL SERVICE CLINIC OPEN TODAY. WHOLE WOMAN’S HEALTH HAD TO CLOSE FOUR OF ITS CLINICS IN TEXAS FOLLOWING THE SUPREME COURT OVERTURNING ROE V WADE THAT REMOVED THE WOMEN’S RIGHT TO AN ABORTION. SOME GOVERNMENTS RECENTLY PASSED ORDINANCES BLOCKING THESE CLINICS LIKE THIS FROM OPENING.

Abortion clinic opens near Albuquerque Sunport
The Whole Woman's Health of New Mexico, an abortion clinic, opened its door in Albuquerque Thursday. The clinic will be operated by Whole Woman's Health.They currently provide in-clinic abortion procedures of up to 18 weeks after conception. WWH plan to expand that care to up to 24 weeks.Another service they provide is medication abortion care for up to 11 weeks. WWH President Amy Miller said the clinic's opening comes after its Texas facility had to close its doors following Roe v. Wade being overturned last year.“Tomorrow marks nine months to the day that we were forced to shutter our Texas clinical operations; today we are once again able to provide abortion care to New Mexicans, Oklahomans and to the communities we served for 20 years in Texas," Miller said. "As we open our doors to both local communities and those forced to migrate from other states for care, we remain unbelievably grateful for the thousands of supporters from around the world that came together to make this clinic a reality.”The clinic is located on Lomas Boulevard, minutes away from the Albuquerque International Sunport Airport.
