    Albany set to celebrate Pride Month this weekend

    PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Pride Month is being celebrated Saturday, June 22 in Albany with a rally, march and fun for all from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    The all-ages event in downtown Albany will have everything from live drag performances to music, food and vendors. The day will start with a rally at 9:30 with emcee and Albany Pride founder, Keith Kolkow at 300 SW 4th Ave.

    Celebrating Pride Month in Portland

    From the rally, attendees will take to the streets of downtown Albany in a Pride March starting at 11:00 a.m. The march will end around 11:45 a.m. with a drag show hosted by Albany native and Portland drag queen, Nicole Onoscopi .

    Juneteenth will also be recognized during the Pride festivities around 1:45 p.m. led by the President of the Linn Benton NAACP , Jason J Dorsette.

    The Pride festivities will come to an end with Mid-Valley Productions take on a talent show. The show will end around 5 p.m.
