The Albany Patroons are in the thick of their season.
It was a slow start from Coach Rowland and the Pats opening night way back on March 3rd. But since then, they haven't lost another game. Winners of eight straight, first place in the Northeast Division of the TBL, Albany is red hot, as they looked to extend that streak in the Armory against a tough foe from Canada.
LIGHTNING @ PATROONS (WASHINGTON AVENUE ARMORY)
Remember Number Three right here Trevis Wyche. He was all over the place as the Pats rocked the city skyline jerseys.
Into the action we go, the London Lightning couldn't miss in the first quarter, that's Lance Adams from deep. But the Patroons bounce back. Off the turnover, the beautiful passing to get the easy two. Albany feeding off the momentum and Trevis Wyche finds Marcus Merchant for the alley-oop slam. Wyche wasnt done yet, end of the quarter, he gets the buzzer beater three to fall.
The Patroons win 96-91. They extend the win streak to nine games.
