ALBANY, NY (WRGB) —
An Albany man will serve 25 years to life in state prison, convicted in a 2019 homicide.

Quintin Lacy, 33, was sentenced to 25 years to life in State Prison before the Hon. Roger McDonough in Albany County Court late Friday afternoon.
The sentence follows his December 5, 2022, conviction of One Count of Murder in the Second Degree and One Count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, following a jury trial

An indictment alleged that on or about December 7, 2019, in the area of 326 Second Street in the City of Albany, LACY intentionally caused the death of Ahmad Fleming by shooting him with an illegal handgun.
