The weather will turn unsettled for the end of the week and part of the weekend.
Skies will turn cloudy this morning with some rain and snow showers breaking out late this morning and midday, mostly north and west of Albany. Rain then will follow Friday afternoon and expand across the area with some snow across the higher elevations.
Most of the snow will transition over to rain into early evening with the commute home wet area-wide. The wet weather will push out of here later in the evening and bring a quiet overnight with lots of clouds and some sprinkles.
A new batch of rain and potential thunder will move in toward daybreak. The whole first half of tomorrow will be wet and grey. We'll catch a few hours of a lull around 12-3 o'clock that will bring breaks of sun and spiking temperatures near 70! It should be beautiful until additional showers and potential thunderstorms start developing. We'll be unsettled again into the evening with potentially gusty winds mixing down to the surface from any thunderstorms that manage to materialize.
The wet weather will end as rain and snow showers tomorrow night and then colder, windy weather will follow for Sunday. It will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the lower and middle 40s. Next week continues to look more mild with highs well into the 50s and in the 60s..
