ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — A Cohoes man was sentenced to 25 years to Life in State Prison, guilty in the murder of another man in Albany.
Ahlaumion Hall, 26, was accused of killing Charles Gibson Jr. by shooting him with a shotgun during a robbery back on May 26th in the area of 43 Quail Street in the City of Albany.
Back on January he pleaded guilty to one count of Murder in the Second Degree.
At sentencing Judge Akerman has some strong words for Hall, “There are very few crimes that have been committed that have left me speechless In the video, your humiliation and murder of an innocent man is one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen. It is my hope that in 25 years, when the parole board meets you, and is considering your future, that they watch that video. Because I’m confident that if they do, you will serve the sentence that is the most fitting for you. You will spend the rest of your life behind bars, so society can be protected from you.”
