Albany Whiting Drive Homicide Investigation Arrests
APD makes arrest in Whiting Drive Homicide case
ALBANY, GA – Albany police officers have arrested two individuals in connection with a homicide that occurred in the 1500 block of Whiting Drive.
Kenneth Kitchen was found in possession of two stolen firearms; one was a patrol rifle stolen from a police car in Sylvester and the other was a glock handgun stolen in Ware County.
Kenneth Kitchen and Shamya Haynes were charged with 2 counts each of tampering with evidence and theft by receiving stolen property.
Kitchen was transported to the Dougherty County jail and Haynes has been in the same jail since the initial incident.
The investigation into the murder of Claudarius Caesar is still active and ongoing.
