    The Alamogordo High School Tiger Girls Soccerteam defeated Clovis 3 to 2. Toni Wilder scored two goals, Zoey Spataro also scored. Olivia Morris and Mila Stevens each with an assist. The Lady Tigers improved their record to 4 wins and 1 loss. They will host Lovington next Saturday.

    In volleyball action Cloudcroft finished 3rd in the Bronze Bracket at the Hatch Valley Tournament. Match results include Cloudcroft lost to Ruidoso in straight sets (25-19, 25-21, 25-16) and against Hatch Valley in straight sets (25-14, 25-6, 25-20).
    The Lady Bears are now 1 win and 3 losses. They next host Tatum on Thursday.

    In volleyball action Chaparral defeated Tularosa in 4 sets (25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-20). The Lady Cats drop to 2 wins and 2 losses. They will play at the Moriarty Tournament on September 6th and 7th.

    Football - Tularosa defeated Ruidoso 24-22. The Wildcats improved their record to 1-1 and will play at Estancia next Friday.

    Football - Lordsburg defeated Cloudcroft 92-52. The Bears drop to a record of 0 and 2 and will host Mesilla Valley Christian next Saturday.

    Football - Roswell defeated Alamogordo 41-14. The Tigers drop to a record of 0 and 2. They host Albuquerque High next Friday at Tiger Stadium.
