Crooked Can brewery and dining hall adding Sunday outdoor market
South Lake County has a new option for Sunday Fun Days. Crooked Can Brewing Company is expanding its weekend lineup with a new weekly outdoor market, set to launch on Sunday, Nov. 15. It's one more fun thing to do at the sprawling 40,000-square-foot brewery and dining hall, which features a craft brewery, a wide array of independent cafes, outdoor entertainment stages, dog-friendly amenities, outdoor patios and a beer garden and a splash pad. The market will operate every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., bringing fresh produce, local artisan goods and specialty food vendors to the massive Hills City Center complex. Putting the farm in the farmers' market experience, Gardner's Fresh Produce offers colorful displays of sunflowers and wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The addition comes just months after the 43,000-square-foot Minneola venue opened its doors in July. Widely touted as the largest craft brewery and food hall of its kind in Florida, the sprawling destination already draws locals of all ages with its spacious beer garden, outdoor entertainment stages and multi-level dining options. "Bringing a Farmers Market to Crooked Can Minneola is all about building strong community connections," Andrew Sheeter, founder of Crooked Can Brewing
