Domino's Pizza driver robbed during delivery in Akron

AKRON, Ohio — A 21-year-old Domino's Pizza driver was robbed while making a delivery in Akron on Monday night.

According to Akron police, officers responded to the Domino's Pizza located in the 700 block of E. Market Street at approximately 10 p.m. after a delivery driver reported being robbed. Upon arrival, officers met with the 21-year-old driver, who said that he was attempting to deliver food to a residence in the 1100 block of Lily Street.

As he approached the house, he noticed two males near its front porch. One of the males proceeded to punch him in the face and take the pizza he was delivering, with both suspects fleeing on foot.
