Weekly Safety Report: Fatal Fire, Assault, Rape, and Commercial Fire in Centralia, Washington
This week in Centralia, Washington, there were several incidents that required police and fire department response. These incidents included a fatal fire at an apartment complex, an assault resulting in a broken hand and threats with a pipe, a rape and kidnapping case, and a fire at a commercial outbuilding. The causes of the fire at the apartment complex and the commercial outbuilding have not been determined.

Weekly Safety Report: Drug Discovery, Theft, Bomb Threat, Suspect Identification, and Assault in Thurston County, Washington
This week in Thurston County, Washington, several incidents occurred that raised concerns for public safety. Bags of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin were discovered hidden in Wonderwood Park. Two men were cited for theft at a Target store in Olympia, with one suspect detained. A fake bomb threat against Yelm High School was traced to a juvenile suspect in New York. Lacey police are seeking help from the public to identify three men involved in alleged crimes. Lastly, an 18-year-old male is facing assault charges after allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old female at a music venue in downtown Olympia.
