Multiple ceremonies, events planned for Memorial Day
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - There are multiple ceremonies and other events set to take place in the Baton Rouge area and across Louisiana for Memorial Day 2024. During the events, residents will take time to remember and honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving the United States.

Another of the events that the Louisiana bowling proprietors put on so well is the Youth-Adult Championships, which were held a couple of weekends ago. A national Youth-Parent event once had a long run, including a stop in Baton Rouge several years ago. The state event has always been a big success for the organization, and the proprietors have changed it to a Youth-Adult format and awarded their own scholarships.
