Tim Bliefnick on Wednesday was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion in the death of his estranged wife, Rebecca Bliefnick.
Bliefnick has been held in the Adams County Jail on a no-bond warrant from the time he was arrested on March 13, and he'll remain in the jail until his sentencing hearing on August 11.
The convicted killer could face a minimum of 45 years to life in prison for the murder charges because a firearm was used in the crime.
Adams County Assistant State's Attorney Josh Jones says based on the cruel crime, their office will likely push for life in prison.
"Not to say anything that's inappropriate, but I think you can anticipate us asking for what he did for brutally and heinously executing Becky Bliefnick, we're going to ask that he spend the rest of his life in prison," Jones said.
Defense attorney Casey Schnack says Tim Bliefnick will appeal the decision, but as of right now, sentencing is set for August 11.
