Coroner identifies Boise woman hit, killed by vehicle
BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Coroner on Tuesday identified the woman who was killed after being hit by a car Friday as 37-year-old Elizabeth Sorg of Boise. According to the Boise Police Department, Sorg was one of two people 23-year-old Marion Nikichimus "intentionally" hit with his vehicle following an altercation on West Poplar Street Friday, east of Cole Road. Another man Nikichimus reportedly hit was treated on scene.
Pedestrian dies to blunt force injuries after being struck by vehicle in Boise
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — At 9:26 p.m. on June 2, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. A pedestrian, 37-year-old Elizabeth Sorg of Boise, was struck by a vehicle at approximately 9:14 p.m. on the 700 block of W. Poplar St. She was pronounced dead at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center at 9:42 p.m. after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful.

Trial set for Chad Daybell
BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —A trial date has been set for Chad Daybell on April 1, 2024. Chad will face a jury trial in Ada County, the same as his wife, Lori Vallow Daybell, did. The notice of trial setting currently has the trial slated to run from April 1st through May 31, 2024. If Lori Vallow Daybell’s trial is any indicator, that trial could end up taking less than the time currently allotted.

Trial date set in murder case against Chad Daybell
BOISE, Idaho — After his wife was just found guilty for murdering her children, Chad Daybell will now face a similar trial on April 1 in Ada County next year. According to court filings dated Friday, Daybell's trial is set for April 1, 2024 at the Ada County Courthouse in Boise at 9 a.m., before Fremont County District Judge Steven Boyce -- the same judge who oversaw the trial of Daybell's wife, Lori Vallow Daybell. She was found guilty of all charges against her on May 12.
Chad Daybell murder trial set to span two months in 2024
BOISE, Idaho (ABC4) — Chad Daybell, who was indicted on multiple counts of murder in May 2021, will not get to trial until 2024, according to East Idaho News. The trial is currently set to take place in Ada County, Idaho, starting at 9 a.m. on April 1, 2024, and is expected to last until May 31, 2024. Daybell has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in his case.
