NEW PALTZ- The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has released its School of Excellence Awards for the 2022-2023 school year and New Paltz High School (NPHS) made the list! NPHS has been recognized as a School of Excellence along with 219 schools across New York State, meaning that at least 75 percent of New Paltz teams received the scholar-athlete team award. For a team to receive the scholar-athlete team award, 75 percent of the team’s roster must have attained a grade point average of 90 percent or above.
