Five Occupants, Three Animals Safely Escape Abingdon House Fire…Home A Total Loss

Five occupants of an Abingdon home, along with three animals were able to safely escape a blaze that left the home a total loss. Firefighters from Abingdon responded to the fire early Wednesday morning on Longview Drive and say the fire apparently started in bathroom wall heater. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced family.
