A water main break on NC 55 Monday morning caused major traffic problems, school dismissals and a boil water advisory for thousands of Cary residents. The break happened on a 30-inch water main, one of the largest in the Town of Cary. The break caused part of NC 55 to close while crews worked to repair the damaged pipe.
