Weekly Safety Report: Grand Theft Auto and Hit-and-Run Conviction in Wisconsin Rapids and Chippewa Falls
Two incidents occurred in Wisconsin Rapids and Chippewa Falls this week. In the first incident, a 31-year-old man was charged with grand theft auto after allegedly stealing a truck from a gas station in Colby. The second incident involved a hit-and-run case in which a 67-year-old man from Loyal was convicted and placed on probation, ordered to pay restitution and fines.
