Input wanted at Atascadero general plan update open house discussion

– The City of Atascadero is hosting an open house event to provide input on topics to consider during the analysis of the General Plan Update.

Scheduled for Wednesday, Jul. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m., the event will be held at Historic City Hall, Foyer Palma Avenue Entrance 1st Floor. Attendees are invited to provide feedback on topics for analysis as part of the city’s blueprint for future policy and decision-making.

This open house will allow the public to share their ideas on which topics should be analyzed as we work toward a preferred alternative for future making. It’s also an opportunity for residents to meet one-on-one with staff and the consultant team to discuss the project and ask questions.

The General Plan update for 2045 aims to set the stage for addressing housing, transportation, jobs the economy, and sustainability. Residents and business owners are encouraged to participate and offer insights into how Atascadero can meet community needs and aspirations over the next 20 to 25 years.
