    – Art Center Morro Bay will host an “Introduction to Stained Glass” workshop with Deborah Wogan on Aug. 13. The workshop will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Art Center, located at 835 Main Street, Morro Bay.

Participants aged 12 and older are invited to learn how to cut glass, solder, and use tools and materials safely to create an 8-inch by 10-inch window. The session will cover abstract and geometric designs using the copper foil method. The class requires standing for extended periods, and the finished glass art will be suitable for both indoor and outdoor display. The price for members is $95, and for non-members, it is $115. All materials are included in the price.

Participants are required to bring safety glasses, an apron or old work shirt, closed-toe comfortable shoes, a face mask, and a hair tie if they have long hair.

Deborah Wogan, the instructor, has over 40 years of experience as a stained glass artist. She specializes in designing and creating both traditional and non-traditional stained glass art, as well as fused glass art and dichroic glass jewelry.
