I've always had the fantasy of getting lost inside a book, I don't know if I'm the only one who wants to live in the pages of a book, but I know it's impossible... However, when I visited The Last Bookstore in Downtown Los Angeles, I felt my dream come true. The Last Bookstore is probably the most fascinating bookstore in the USA. Located at 453 S Spring St - Ground Floor Los Angeles, CA 90013, this bookstore stands out for its unique design and the famous book tunnel. The bookstore is open every day from 11 AM to 8 PM; visitors must wear a mask at all times and comply with COVID health precautions.
Don't get me wrong; this is a place that seems like something out of the imagination of a fictional writer. Once you step foot inside the bookstore, you can breathe in that quirky and fascinating air that the pages of the books give off. They have loads of books, seriously, thousands of them. In addition, The Last Bookstore has a special annex where there are only rare books, first editions of classics of world literature, books of incalculable historical value, and hundreds of incredible things.
The book tunnel is beautiful, everyone wants to take a great photo, and it is not for less, its amazing design makes it perfect for a photograph with which to impress your friends and family. In fact, newlyweds go to take pictures in the book tunnel because they believe that it will bring them good luck in their marriage. Couples can plan their wedding at The Last Bookstore and invite up to 200 people! For reservations, you must contact them through their website.
The Last Bookstore also has several reading clubs that you can join to share a good time with people who like the same literary genres as you, something quite cool and will allow you to meet new people. For introverts like me, it's a wonderful thing.
If you are a book lover, want to take a great photo in the book tunnel, or just want to make friends at book clubs, The Last Bookstore is ideal for you to start writing your story! (No pun intended)
