INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever are dealing with back-to-back losses to the Las Vegas Aces, following their 74-78 defeat Friday night.

The Hoosier team was down by six points at the end of Q1, and that gap had increased to eight by halftime.  With 10 minutes left in the game, Damiris Dantas briefly tied things up 60-60.

Kelsey Mitchell also broke her own franchise record with her 733rd point of the season. And, Caitlin Clark broke the WNBA record for most season assists, recording her 317th during Q2.

Mitchell racked up 20 points total Friday night, with Clark getting 18.  Vegas star A’ja Wilson had 15 points and 17 rebounds.

But, while Hoosier players were setting records Friday night, they were also facing a few challenges.

Clark received her sixth technical foul after hitting a stanchion, meaning another such foul will land her a one-game suspension.

Forward Aliyah Boston even left the game during the first half after taking a hit to the face.  She later returned.

The Fever last faced the Aces Wednesday, when they lost 75-86.  Up next, they will face the Dallas Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Sunday at 3 p.m.
