Another popular restaurant chain has joined the growing list of closures plaguing America with locations shuttering across four states including Pennsylvania. According to The Daily Mail , beloved Italian staple Buca di Beppo ceased operations at 13 locations across America this week, with little notice to employees.

The popular family-style dining chain officially ceased operations in Wyomissing (located at 2745 Paper Mill Road) this week following two previous Pittsburgh closures that occurred earlier this year, per phillyburbs.com . The location's website noted that the establishment is now permanently closed, joining the nation's growing list of family-style dining chain closures.

Livonia, Michigan's Buca di Beppo sent an email to the Detroit Free Press detailing regret and gratitude concerning the recent closures.

"After being part of this community for 25 years, regrettably, Buca di Beppo in Livonia has closed. We thank our customers for their loyalty — it was our privilege to be the backdrop for countless gatherings and celebrations over the past two decades."

Buca di Beppo restaurants in California and Florida also permanently closed their doors this week. Regular patrons and former employees of the Sacramento, California location (also open for 25 years) were absolutely "shocked." Former employee Jayden Seizmore expressed sheer disbelief to Fox40 , referring to the unfortunate news as a "big deal."

"Just knowing this place has been open for so long and it’s closing…is a big deal."
