NASHVILLE, Ark. (KSLA) - A young adult and juvenile were arrested for their alleged involvement in a shooting in Nashville, Ark. On April 25, at 6:58 p.m., the Nashville Police Department began a shooting investigation at the intersection of Parker Street and Ansley Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that multiple shots were fired and one person was injured.
New Texarkana airport terminal opens this summer
TEXARKANA, Ark. - After nearly 20 years of planning and three years of construction, the new Texarkana Regional Airport Terminal is almost complete. The two-story building is under construction next door to the airport's Public Safety Center. Airport officials say this new terminal is four times as large as the current terminal.

Tribute to Women: Sherry Missildine
Growing up, Sherry didn’t think she was smart enough to pursue a career in medicine. “I didn’t grow up in a supportive environment and was never taught how to study, learn, or retain information,” she explained. During her senior year at Arkansas High School, she was hired as a legal secretary, a position she kept for ten years. She worked for a local attorney who specialized in workers’ compensation and disability. “Everything we dealt with was medical-related,” she said.

“Mrs. Snell, my fourth grade teacher, served as a source of motivation for me to pursue a career in teaching,” Mary reflected. Mrs. Snell was not only Mary’s teacher at school but also the wife of her pastor and her Sunday school teacher. “Throughout our time together, she shared stories from the Bible, led us in prayer, and encouraged us to sing hymns every day. She also stressed the significance of treating others with kindness and respect.”
