Bay police arrest man on rape charges
BAY, Ark. (KAIT) - A man is being held on a $2.5 million bond after a Craighead County District Court judge found probable cause to charge him with raping a child. According to court documents, 37-year-old Justin Lynn Totty is accused of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexual conduct involving a child; rape of a minor; permitting a child to engage in sexually explicit conduct; and incest.

Power restored following hundreds of outages
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Hundreds of outages were reported in Region 8 following Friday night’s thunderstorms. As of 10:45 p.m., the Craighead Electric Cooperative outage map showed nearly 900 outages in Craighead County and 28 outages in Greene County. Over 600 of the outages were in the Brookland area.
