Just one day after a pickup truck crashed into a home’s garage in Cicero, another crashed into a home in Blodgett Mills in Cortland County on Friday, May 3. Around 4 p.m., the Cortlandville Fire Department was called to a home at Blodgett Mills Road West. When they arrived, they saw a pickup truck had crashed into a home, causing significant damage to the truck and the home.

After striped bass poachers busted, New York alters fishing rules
After a series of busts of poachers fishing for out-of-season striped bass in New York, the state's Department of Environmental Conservation has changed fishing regulations for the species. Environmental Conservation police officers and investigators are part of the agency's Division of Law Enforcement. Striped bass are considered an "ecologically, recreationally, and economically important species," according to the department's website.
