NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man has been seriously injured after a shooting on Wednesday, Newport News Police Department said. NNPD police responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 500 block of Calla Court. A man was found suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital.
