Montgomery opens accessible kayak launch
MONTGOMERY- Montgomery’s Benedict Farm Park is now more accessible following the opening of a handicapped accessible dock and kayak launch. The project, led by Theron Adkins of the Town of Montgomery Recreation Department, allows for the easy transfer of individuals with disabilities into and out of kayaks and canoes.
Kingston area drug dealer convicted on narcotics and gun charges
KINGSTON- A Kingston man is facing up to 15 years in prison following his conviction on felony drug and gun charges in Ulster County Court. William Mayo, age 42, of Kingston, was convicted following a jury trial for 11 counts including serious charges of sale and possession of narcotic drugs, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
