Devils Lake Native Grant Nelson Will Return to Alabama Next Season
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)–Devils Lake native and former North Dakota State Forward Grant Nelson is returning to Alabama next season. The 6-11 Forward spent three years at NDSU before transferring to Alabama for the 2023-24 season. Nelson averaged 12 points-per-game and 6 rebounds-per-game last season at Alabama and opted to return for his final year of eligibility over declaring for the NBA Draft.
Couple charged with child neglect and manslaughter of ND toddler
BENSON COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A man and woman have been charged in the death of a young child in Benson County, North Dakota. United States Attorney Mac Schneider says Austin Ray Lester, 28, and Krissy Louise Hinsley, 25, both from Tokio, ND, made initial appearances on April 19, on charges of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of child neglect.
