Tanya Perkins said her 13-year-old Haley was a very bright, young soul. She was family-oriented and was always willing to help others. Emergency declaration of temporary housing extended for former Pueblo motel residents
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The City of Pueblo extended their emergency declaration for temporary housing for former residents of the Val U Stay Inn & Suites. This motel was evacuated Thursday when the city served the owner of the motel with a cease and desist warrant. According to the city, the owner did not have a lodging license since last year and officials described the living conditions at this motel as unacceptable.
