One Person Hospitalized After Olean Fire
OLEAN, NY — After a fire occurred at 623 Seneca Ave. early Wednesday morning, one person was hospitalized for evaluation at Olean General Hospital. Firefighters were dispatched at 2:36 a.m. and arrived within four minutes to find heavy fire in the rear of the structure. Olean police officers assisted in the evacuation of the occupants. The history of the softball program
When the St. Bonaventure University softball team formed in 1988, Molly Quattrone took the helm as the program’s first-ever head coach. Following Quattrone’s three seasons, Cindy Ryan-Nannen coached SBU with limited success. The Brown and White failed to record a conference win under Ryan-Nannen during her tenure from 1991-1993.

OLEAN, NY — The late Steve Cook had been a four-sport athlete in high school at Richburg Central School, playing basketball, track, soccer and baseball. As he got older, Cook found a new love: bowling. Cook bowled 10 perfect games, including the first perfect game at Good Times of Olean. Spring Weekend 2024 anticipated by students
This weekend is St. Bonaventure University’s annual Spring Weekend. This event is held for students to unwind and celebrate the end of the academic year. Students have various opportunities to participate in activities such as a kickball tournament, inflatables, bingo, karaoke and s’mores under the Marchiori Pavilion, outside of Devereux Hall.
