RIDGELY, Tenn. (WTVA) — A 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook northwest Tennessee early Thursday morning. The quake happened at 3:19, approximately 4 miles south of Ridgely, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). It originated 4.5 miles down into the Earth. That level of magnitude is considered minor.

DYERSBURG, Tenn. - Doorbell footage captured Sunday night in Dyersburg shows a Tennessee Highway Patrolman tasing a suspect in the back while he has his hands up. The situation that led to the tasing involved three different law enforcement agencies.
