New Kroger planned in southeast Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Shea Van Hoy) — The Kroger Co. looks to be adding another new location on Beulah Church Road in Louisville,according to Louisville Business First. The Cincinnati-based grocer, the largest traditional supermarket operator in America and one of Greater Louisville's largest employers, recently applied for a variance with Louisville Metro Government related to the project at 6803 Beulah Church Road.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Danny Gargan grew up just outside the gates of Churchill Downs on First Street and Evelyn Avenue. A lifelong racetracker, the 52-year-old Gargan started hot walking horses when he was a youngster, his father was a jockey who had won the Kentucky Oaks before he passed away when the younger Gargan was four. Community Care Campus in Louisville to help city's homeless population
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than a billion dollars in state money will be invested in Louisville in an effort to tackle the city's homelessness crisis. State lawmakers allocated $100 million over the next two years to six downtown Louisville projects.
