Tyler Falconer, 31, former proprietor of Falco K9, accepted a continuance without a finding on two counts of animal cruelty on Wednesday, thereby avoiding a definitive conviction, provided he adheres to the court's conditions.

100 mile yard sale set for May 2-5
It’s most everybody’s favorite time of year---time for the spring version of the 100 mile yard sale along U.S. 29, generally running from Amherst to Danville. Yard sales do not encompass the entire route as some stretches of 29 are wooded with no residential areas. All the towns usually participate in some way. It’s not uncommon to see yard sales set up at vacant buildings and businesses’ parking lots throughout the towns.
