Vandalia Delivery Driver Heads To State Capitol
Tony Leidner is a Vandalia native who has been battling Multiple Sclerosis for the past 30 years. When DoorDash finally came to the area in late 2019, he decided to become a Dasher. At the time, Tony was using a cane, and found that not only was he physically able to dash, but it was good for him. He has enjoyed dashing ever since, and believes that DoorDash has made him stronger. In fact, he often does not have to use his cane anymore! Shortly after beginning Dashing, he was elected to the Dasher Community Council, where he served a two-year position working to improve the app for Dashers. He continues as an alumni today by serving as an ambassador to DoorDash, a position he takes pride in.
