Suspect on the run after assaulting man in Hoke County, deputies say
RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) – Hoke County deputies are investigating after a man was taken to the hospital following an assault on Monday night. According to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and EMS crews responded at around 9:10 p.m. to the 400 block of Koppers Drive in Raeford about an assault. When deputies arrived on scene, they found the victim suffered “multiple lacerations” and EMS transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment, the sheriff’s office said.
