HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The remains of a man found dead by Harrisonburg Police on Monday night have been identified as a Mount Jackson police officer. In a release Tuesday, Mount Jackson Police Chief James Cowart confirmed that the body of Officer Chazz Beaver was located during a requested welfare check at his Devon Lane apartment complex.
