Broken Bow man sentenced for murder
BROKEN BOW, Okla. (KXII) - A Broken Bow man is headed to federal prison after pleading guilty to murder. According to The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Devon Battiest, 43, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for walking into a Broken Bow home in May 2023, armed with a firearm, then shooting and killing a guest at the home.

Among those working to clean up the debris was Blayne Hardway, who left his home near Broken Bow before dawn on Sunday, towing his skid steer hours to Sulphur.
