South Dakota man convicted in Fonner Park murder case
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Nearly a year and two months after a Lincoln man was killed at Fonner Park in Grand Island, a South Dakota man is convicted of murder. On Wednesday, 21-year-old Logan Hunts Horse of Wounded Knee, SD, pled guilty to second degree murder and no contest to use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. He will be sentenced July 30. Four related charges were dropped in a plea bargain, including another charge of use of a deadly weapon, use of a firearm to commit a felony, robbery and felony conspiracy.

Ben Spencer of Natrona Commits to Chadron State for Track & Field
Ben Spencer from Natrona has found a school to continue his track and field career and that's Chadron State College in Nebraska. At the recent Kelly Walsh Trojan Invitational, Spencer placed 1st in the shot-put at 50 feet 5 inches and took 2nd in the discus at 141 feet 8 inches. At the Wyoming Track Classic, He was 7th in the shot at 49.-9.75 and 8th in the discus at 136-8.
Manderson man pleads not guilty for murder of Shayna Youngman
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - A Manderson man was in court today accused of the murder of a 17-year-old. Tyson White Plume, 29, is charged with second-degree murder in the February 2022 death of Shayna Youngman. White Plume is also being charged with discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence and tampering with a witness.
Driver claims he had panic attack in moments before deadly crash

On November 24, 2022, Giles Hulsmann was driving from West Virginia to Washington state. He got lost near Pine Ridge and claims to have had a panic attack, which caused him to drive faster and faster, forcing several cars off the road.
