Man wanted for human trafficking in Jasper County
JASPER COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Jasper County deputies are searching for a man who’s wanted for sexual battery and human trafficking. Investigators said the suspect has been identified as 43-year-old Kevin Page. Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department participates in Drug Take Back day
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department and the East Mississippi Drug Task Force participated in the DEA’s Drug Takeback Day. The drug take-back occurred in the parking lot of Sam’s Club, as members of the community were encouraged to bring prescribed medicines and pills that were no longer being used.

A warm and windy weekend
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - The weekend is finally here, and it’ll be an overall nice one to get out and enjoy. However, the only fly in the ointment will be the WIND. Gusty winds are expected throughout the weekend with gusts that are over 30 mph on Saturday and near 30 mph on Sunday. Gusty winds and warm temperatures for the weekend
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Happy Fri-YAY!!! We have made it to the end of the work week and the weather has been wonderful all week long . Today we start the day with clouds, but mostly sunny skies returns. Highs head into the upper 80s and since temps are well above the average think about ways to stay cool. Windy conditions will help bring us some relief by the afternoon as wind speeds increase up to 15mph and gusty up to 25mph.
