20-year-old from Ohio dies in late night crash
Nathan Eddy, age 20, of Bloomingdale, Ohio was driving a 2021 Subaru WRX eastbound on U.S. 22, attempting to negotiate a right curve, when he traveled off the left side of the roadway. Police say the vehicle continued through the median and then across the westbound lanes of U.S. 22. It then went off the left side of the roadway before striking an embankment and overturning.

Hancock County receives $6.5 million boost for vital sewer system overhaul
HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. — The West Virginia IJDC has approved $6.5 million for the Hancock County Public Service District. The funding will add to the $17 million sewer project that will improve the Newell system. In 2020, the Newell Company filed a petition to be determined a failing utility.
