FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - A man in Eagle River was charged last week for being a felon in possession of a firearm. In October 2023, Kyle Reynolds, 27, allegedly possessed a firearm during a domestic violence assault, according to court documents. Reynolds, prior to this alleged event, had a felony conviction for assault and failing to stop at the direction of a peace officer which resulted in serious injury.

Prescribed burns to begin on military grounds near Fairbanks and North Pole
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The implementation of prescribed fires will start as early as May 2, at several military training areas around Fairbanks and North Pole.
