Family of deceased Dauphin County student believe game ‘Senior Assassin’ led to his death
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — The family of 16-year-old Justin Johnson, who passed away Friday, held a media event about the circumstances surrounding his death. According to an autopsy report by the Dauphin County Coroner’s office, Justin had cardiomyopathy and died due to complications of sickle cell disease. Although the family was aware of Justin’s sickle cell disease diagnosis, an attorney representing the Johnson family said a popular game “Senior Assassin” may have led up to Justin’s death.

Bankrupt Harrisburg Developer Seeks Buyers
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Representatives of a Harrisburg developer appeared in federal bankruptcy court Tuesday. Uptown Partners has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and discussed efforts to sell several properties and deal with hundreds of city code violations. The court heard there are potential buyers for nearly 200 rental units, but none of these entities met all requirements. The final decision on the sale was postponed to June 25th. Later that day, Uptown Partners officials pleaded guilty to charges regarding more than 90 city code violations. The firm faces fines of between 75 and 100 thousand dollars.
Man jailed for vicious assault that landed victim in hospital
Beavertown, Pa. — A Beavertown man is in jail after he allegedly assaulted and seriously injured another man. The assault occurred shortly after 3:15 p.m. April 18 at Conewago Snyder on Route 522 in Beaver Township. Trp. Jacob Kozma said Anthony R. Savage, 31, got into a fight with a 45-year-man at the drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. The male victim was taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for treatment of serious injuries, police said. Savage was charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, and summary harassment through the office of District Judge Bo Trawitz. Savage remains in Snyder in lieu of $10,000 bail as he awaits a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 15. Docket Sheet

Officials say this is the time of year when residents are approached unsolicited with offers to pave and seal driveways, or perform home repairs.
