Community gears up for Sudduth Elementary’s Touch-a-Truck
Sudduth Elementary Parents and Teachers Organization (PTO) is hosting Starkville's annual Touch-A-Truck event this Saturday, April 27 at Sudduth Elementary School. Touch-a-Truck events provide a unique opportunity for children to get an up close, hands-on experience with a variety of vehicles that they most likely see often but may not typically have access to. Children of all ages will have the opportunity to meet the drivers and operators and even get behind the wheel to honk the horn or sound the sirens. All funds raised are used to support improvements and resources needed at Sudduth Elementary.
Eupora takes first game round two softball victory over Walnut
EUPORA – A wild first inning took both Eupora and Walnut on a ride in Thursday night’s second round softball matchup. The Lady Wildcats dropped four runs on the board in the top of the inning and Eupora followed with an incredible 11-run inning in the bottom of the frame. Though things calmed down the rest of the way, Eupora had to hold on late in the game in order to get the 12-9 victory.
